The office of the Controller of Examinations is the custodian of students examinations records. This office deals with the matters of students of University, Sub Campuses, Public and Private Affiliated Institutions / Colleges pertaining to Conduct of Examinations, Notification of Results, Issuance of Detailed Marks Sheets, Provisional Certificates & Verification of Transcripts and Degrees. Examinations Department has a state of the art, reliable & transparent technological efficient and credible examination system to produce qualified and motivated professionals. Hence caters the need of the student body effectively, ensuring reliable testing and evaluation produced by the with zero tolerance towards unfair and inefficient practices. The Examinations team of this University is fully committed to contribute its visionary role for ensuring transparent and judicious assessment and providing eminence services to all stake holders though fool proof mechanism coupled with standard operating procedures devised for examination activities adhering to Rules & Regulations of GCUF and guidelines of HEC.

Following major tasks are carried out as laid down:

• To prepare and announce the calendar of examinations
• To manage the examinations as per requirements
• Arrangements for external examiners for paper setting and evaluation of answer scripts
• Conduct of examinations / administration of assessments
• Making arrangements of answer scripts from examiners
• Implementation of decisions of hardship cases committees, unfair means committee and discipline committee
• Maintaining strict secrecy while discharging of official work
• To provide uniformity of standards attained by students of different institutions
• Preparation of results, notifications, transcripts and degrees
• Holding of Annual Convocations
