DIRECTORATE

Keeping in view the globalization and economy based knowledge, Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) was established in 2006 at Government College University Faisalabad under the instructions and guidelines of HEC Pakistan. It’s main purpose was to enhance, maintain and monitor the quality of higher education.

Vision

The Vision of the Quality Enhancement Cell Govt. College University Faisalabad is to become a benchmark in Quality of Research and Education.

Mission

The Mission of the Quality Enhancement Cell is to ensure and enhance the Quality of Higher Education and Establishment of Research Oriented Environment at the University so that the students can play a vital role in the development of our motherland “Pakistan”.

Activities

As the QEC is responsible for obtaining excellence in education and research to enhance public confidence in the quality and standard of the degrees awarded by the university, the Cell develops the Quality Assurance Process and Evaluation Methods by the following activities round the year

Co-opted member of different statutory bodies of university like, Board of Studies, Academic Council, Advanced Studies and Research Board, Finance and Planning Committee, Selection Board and Syndicate

Achievements

QEC, GCUF has the membership of all renowned international organizations related to Quality Enhancement and Quality Assurance of Educational Institutes like The Talloires Network, QEC Network ((Network off Quality Enhancement Cells off Pakistani Universities, Asia Pacific Quality Network (APQN), Quality Assurance Agencies of Islamic World (IQA) and Pakistan Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education Institutions (PNQAHI).
