Special and excellent arrangements have been made for Sehri and Iftar during the holy month of Ramadan in the girls’ hostels of Government College University Faisalabad.

On the special directives of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Rauf-i-Azam, Chairperson Hall Council Professor Dr. Maryam Rehman convened a meeting along with wardens and superintendents, during which the Ramadan schedule was finalized and necessary arrangements were reviewed.

The meeting included detailed discussions regarding the provision of quality and timely meals for female students residing in university hostels, as well as Sehri and Iftar arrangements and other facilities. It was shared on the occasion that during Ramadan, dates, beverages (Tang), and fruit are being provided to students and staff for Iftar. Regular visits are also being conducted at Sehri and Iftar times to ensure the quality of food.

Chairperson Hall Council Professor Dr. Maryam Rehman stated that providing a home-like environment for hostel residents is the administration’s top priority. She further mentioned that uninterrupted electricity supply, availability of clean drinking water, separate rooms for offering prayers, and internet access through Wi-Fi are continuously being ensured.
