Prof. Dr. Rauf-I-Azam, Vice Chancellor, Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF), participated as a distinguished guest speaker in a Current Affairs Special radio program aired on Wave FM 96.6, a project of The University of Faisalabad (TUF). Hosted by Farrukh Sheikh, the program focused on the highly significant topic “Higher Education: Challenges and Consequences.”

The discussion highlighted the pressing challenges confronting Pakistan’s higher education sector, their long-term consequences for students, academic institutions, and national development, and explored practical pathways toward academic excellence and sustainable progress.

During his visit, Prof. Dr. Rauf-I-Azam also met with the TUF administration and toured the university campus, including the main library and ongoing infrastructure development projects. On this occasion, Rector TUF, Prof. Dr. Aman Ullah Malik, warmly welcomed the Vice Chancellor.
