The Applied Zoological Society of Pakistan Hosts 8th International Conference on Applied Zoology (ICAZ-2025)

The Applied Zoological Society of Pakistan organized the 8th International Conference on Applied Zoology (ICAZ-2025) in collaboration with the University of the Punjab, Lahore, and Government College University, Faisalabad (GCUF). The event gathered eminent scientists, researchers, and academicians from around the globe to discuss the latest advancements and innovations in the field of applied zoological sciences.
More than ten foreign speakers along with eminent national speakers participated in the conference. Professor Dr. Muhammad Ali (SI, TI), University of Punjab, Prof Dr Rauf-I-Azam Vice Chancellor Government College University Faisalabad, served as the Chief Guests of the conference.
Prof Dr Muhammad Ali emphasized the role of scientific collaboration and innovation in addressing global zoological and environmental challenges.
At this occasion Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam Vice Chancellor GCUF highlighted that such conferences play a vital role in promoting education and research in the diverse fields of biological and allied sciences. He emphasized that the academic community must continue to contribute towards solving environmental and biological challenges through applied scientific research.
The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha, Director General of the Punjab Agriculture, Drug and Food Authority, and Prof. Dr. Zaib-un-Nisa, Vice Chancellor of the University of Home Economics, Lahore. A delegation from the Government College University Faisalabad also participated in the conference, contributing to the exchange of ideas and fostering academic collaboration among the institutions.
The conference featured a series of keynote talks, oral and poster presentations, and thematic sessions covering diverse areas such as biodiversity conservation, molecular zoology, environmental biotechnology, and animal health sciences.
