ORIC steering committee meeting regarding the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) policy was held on June 5, 2025, at the Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat, Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF). The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Rauf-I-Azam.

The meeting was attended by Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nasir Amin, Deans of various faculties, CEOs from leading industries, Director (ORIC) Dr. Tanvir Shahzad, and Manager Business Incubation Center (BIC) Dr. Mohsin Bashir.

The primary agenda of the meeting was to review and strengthen the university’s IPR policy, ensure the protection of research and innovation, and enhance collaboration between academia and industry. Participants shared valuable insights and recommendations to safeguard the intellectual contributions of students and researchers, and to promote the commercialization of their work.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Rauf-I- Azam expressed his gratitude to all participants and reaffirmed the university’s commitment to fostering innovation, research excellence, and strategic partnerships.
