The Security Office of Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF), in collaboration with the Civil Defence Department, Faisalabad, organized a practical training session on fire safety and firefighting techniques for university security personnel.

The session aimed to enhance the participants’ capacity to respond effectively to fire emergencies. The training covered the proper use of fire extinguishers, safe firefighting methods and appropriate emergency response procedures.

The initiative was intended to strengthen emergency preparedness and promote a culture of safety across the university campus, ensuring better protection for students, faculty, staff and university property.

Chief Security Officer Dr Kashif Irshad emphasized the importance of professional training and preparedness in handling emergency situations. The initiative reflects the university’s commitment to improving campus safety through practical training and institutional collaboration.
