GCUF Fashion Design Students Showcase Innovative Final Year Projects at Fashion Exhibition

The Institute of Art & Design, Government College University Faisalabad, showcased the Final Year Projects of Fashion Design students, featuring creative garments inspired by Sustainable Fashion, Eco-Friendly Fashion, Creative Fashion, and contemporary fashion trends.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, Vice Chancellor, GCUF, while Distinguished Guest of Honor Prof. Dr. Hassan Amir Shah, Former Vice Chancellor, GCU Lahore, also attended the event. Former Commissioner Dera Ghazi Khan Mr. Khalid Manzoor, Mr. Rizwan Ashraf, and representatives of the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry visited the exhibition and appreciated the students’ work.

The projects focused on bridging the gap between fashion education, research, and industry, while targeting both national and international markets. The students transformed their creative ideas into innovative garments, reflecting their individual identities as emerging fashion artists.

The projects were completed under the supervision of Ms. Tahmeena Afzal, In-Charge, Institute of Art & Design, with guidance from Ms. Yousra Saleem, Mr. Mudassir Mehmood, and Ms. Sadia Mehmood.
