GCUF Vice Chancellor Attends ISCE 2026 Opening Ceremony as Guest of Honour at FAST Islamabad

Vice Chancellor of Government College University Faisalabad, Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, participated as Guest of Honour at the opening ceremony of the International Students Convention & Expo (ISCE) 2026 held at FAST National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences.
The ceremony marked the inauguration of a comprehensive industrial, educational, and innovation-driven expo, bringing together leading universities, industry representatives, and students from across the country.
On the occasion, Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam met with COMSTECH Coordinator General Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Chaudhary, as well as vice chancellors and rectors from various public and private sector universities, discussing avenues for academic collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Vice Chancellor GCUF also Presents the Sovenior to the Coordinator General COMSTECH Prof Dr Muhammad Iqbal Chaudhary and Prof Dr Aftab Ahmad Maroof Rector FAST University Islamabad.
Government College University Faisalabad actively participated in the expo by showcasing innovative student projects, research initiatives, and industry-relevant equipment aimed at addressing contemporary challenges and market needs.
Executive Director of the Higher Education Commission Pakistan, Prof. Dr. Zia ul Haq, visited the exhibition stalls along with the Vice Chancellor, appreciating the creativity, technical expertise, and practical relevance of the displayed projects.
Key institutional platforms of GCUF, including the Business Incubation Center (BIC), Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), and international linkages office, also actively contributed to the event, highlighting the university’s commitment to innovation, entrepreneurship, and global engagement.
The Vice Chancellor termed the event a significant platform for strengthening academia-industry linkages and promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration among students and researchers.
