GCUF Signs Historic MoU with Universidade de São Paulo (USP), Brazil
Government College University Faisalabad has taken a monumental step towards global academic excellence by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the world-renowned Universidade de Sao Paulo (USP) from Brazil.
This landmark agreement is set to strengthen academic cooperation and promote international collaboration in higher education and research between Pakistan and Brazil.
The MoU was formally signed by Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, Vice Chancellor of GCUF, with facilitation from the Directorate of International Linkages, led by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Riaz. The dedicated efforts for this partnership were orchestrated by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sharif, who served as the Focal Person from GCUF.
This strategic partnership aims to facilitate a wide range of collaborative activities, including:
- Exchange of teaching staff and researchers;
- Joint development of research projects;
- Joint organization of scientific and cultural events;
- Interchange of information and of academic publications;
- Exchange of students;
- Exchange of members of their technical and administrative staff; Shared courses and subjects.
Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, Vice Chancellor GCUF, declared this MoU as a significant milestone in GCUF’s commitment to enhancing global engagement, thereby facilitating innovative research collaborations and providing valuable capacity-building opportunities for faculty and students alike.
