BIC GCUF Organizes Entrepreneurship Session on Business Development and Operations

The Business Incubation Center (BIC), GCUF, hosted an inspiring session on “Foundation, Formation, and Operation of a Business” with Engr. Maqsood Ali Kamboh (MS, PE), Founder of TSI Engineering Inc., California, USA.

Around 100 students from the Department of Civil Engineering and Technology and Lyallpur Business School attended, alongside faculty members from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.

Reflecting on his student days at the institution in the 1980s, Engr. Kamboh shared his journey into entrepreneurship in the United States. He encouraged students to begin with small ventures, learn through experience, and build businesses that solve problems. His message emphasized honesty, quality work, helping others, and giving back to society.

In his concluding remarks, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rauf Bhatti, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, thanked the speaker for sharing his experience and encouraging students to explore entrepreneurship.

Prof. Dr. Mohsin Bashir, Manager BIC, thanked Engr. Kamboh for an engaging session and expressed appreciation to the students and faculty for their enthusiastic participation. The session reinforced BIC’s commitment to connecting students with experienced entrepreneurs and helping them take practical steps towards developing their business ideas. Students with innovative ideas are encouraged to engage with BIC and explore opportunities through its forthcoming call for ideas.

BIC extends sincere gratitude to Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, Vice Chancellor, GCUF, for his continued support and encouragement. Although other important commitments prevented him from joining the session, his support for BIC remains instrumental in promoting a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation across the university.
