Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) secured three top positions and awards at the YES Summit, Expo and Startup Competition 2026, held at Bahria University and Riphah International University Islamabad.

GCUF’s Business Incubation Centre (BIC) and faculty-led projects showcased their innovative ideas and entrepreneurial potential at the event, which brought together academia, industry experts and emerging entrepreneurs to promote innovation, leadership and sustainable business development.

The summit was inaugurated by Syeda Amna Batool, Member of the National Assembly and focal person to the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, in the presence of Bahria University Rector Vice Admiral Abid Hameed HI(M), Higher Education Commission representatives and Dr. Javaid Laghari, Convenor of the HEC Task Force for Business Incubation Centres.

GCUF’s achievement highlighted the university’s efforts to promote entrepreneurship, support innovative projects and strengthen industry-academia collaboration. The event also provided opportunities for knowledge-sharing, networking and the development of sustainable business ideas.
