GCUF Concludes Five-Day New Faculty Induction & Academic Practice Program

Directorate of Training & Development concluded GCUF’s 05-Day New Faculty Induction & Academic Practice Program. The program brought together new faculty members to reflect on teaching, academic responsibilities, and the learning experiences we create for our students.
Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf I Azam appreciated the Directorate of Training & Development team for organizing the program and thanked the participants for their active involvement. He reminded us that GCUF is our home and that building a strong culture of learning is a shared responsibility. He reminded the participants that universities are institutions of higher learning, and our learning should continue as we help students learn not only what to learn, but how to learn.
The Vice Chancellor also advised the Directorate to start closed-circle community meetings where colleagues can exchange ideas and perspectives, learn collectively, and contribute to our university community’s development to establish a culture of supportive learning.
As he emphasized “The real value of training lies in what we put into practice. I hope we carry these lessons into our classrooms and academic work, creating more engaging, fair, and supportive learning experiences for our students.”
We extend our sincere thanks to the Vice Chancellor for his guidance, to all participants for their thoughtful engagement, to the Directorate team for their dedication, and to the Lincoln Corner team for its support and hospitality.
