To create awareness about the Punjab Youth Innovation and Incubation Competition 2026 (PYIIC-2026), organised under the Government of the Punjab (Punjab CoE-CVE, Home Department), the Business Incubation Center GCUF visited departments across the Old Campus on 10th July 2026.

Execution Managers Dr. Uzma Jamil and Engr. Waqar Aziz held one-on-one meetings with the Chairpersons of Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Pharmaceutics, Physiology and Education, and answered their competition related questions. The team also visited the Center for Data Science, College of Law, Bioinformatics and Biotechnology, and the Office of the Dean, Pharmaceutical Sciences.

A total prize pool of Rs 2.25 million awaits the best ideas, along with incubation support, mentorship and implementation opportunities.

Applications close on 21st July 2026. The university level competition will be held on 24th July 2026, where the top three ideas from GCUF will be selected for onward submission to Punjab CoE-CVE.
