GCUF Moot Court Society Holds Third Inter-Departmental Moot Court Competition

The Moot Court Society, College of Law, Government College University Faisalabad organized the Third Inter-Departmental Moot Court Competition with great enthusiasm and active participation from students. The competition featured four major categories including criminal law, constitutional law, family law and company law, providing students with an opportunity to demonstrate their legal knowledge, advocacy skills and courtroom presentation.
More than 45 teams participated in the event. Prior to the competition, the organizing committee comprising students of the 10th semester batch (2021–2026) arranged a series of training and mentoring sessions to enhance participants’ skills in legal research, case preparation and argument presentation.
Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Rauf-i-Azam, Dean social sciences Dr Asim Mahmood and Chairman College of Law Dr Ghulam Murtaza attended the ceremony and appreciated the efforts and performance of the students.
The success of the event was attributed to Incharge Dr Muhammad Amir Manj, the faculty members of the College of Law and the organizing committee of the 10th semester batch, who played a vital role in successfully conducting the academic activity.
Teachers and participants said that such competitions play an important role in promoting legal awareness, research culture, confidence and professional skills among students. Through the successful organisation of the event, the Moot Court Society once again reinforced the university’s academic and professional traditions.
