Government College University Faisalabad successfully hosted the two-day mega event “Lyallpur Academia Industry Nexus and Expo (LAIN 2026)” at the Quaid-i-Azam Auditorium, bringing together academia, industry leaders, researchers, entrepreneurs, innovators, and the business community under one platform to promote collaboration, innovation, and research commercialization.

Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas Vice Chancellor University of Sargodha praised the initiative as a historic step toward bridging the gap between academia and industry, emphasizing the vital role of universities in delivering practical solutions for economic and social development. During the expo, he visited various stalls and interacted with academia-industry stakeholders, appreciating the remarkable efforts of Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam and his team for successfully organizing the event.
