A distinguished collection of scholarly books authored by Dr. Muhammad Sajid Hamid Akash (PAS), Associate Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Government College University Faisalabad was formally presented as complimentary copies to Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam at his office.

The collection comprises high-impact academic works published by internationally acclaimed publishers, including Elsevier and Springer Nature. These publications reflect Dr. Sajid Akash’s sustained and impactful contributions to the fields of pharmaceutical sciences, metabolic disorders, biotechnology, and environmental health.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam highly appreciated the scholar’s scientific, academic, and professional contributions. He noted that such achievements play a pivotal role in strengthening pharmacy education, creating meaningful societal impact, and enhancing the academic standing and global ranking of GCUF.

These books have gained international recognition and are catalogued in leading academic libraries such as New York University, Oregon State University, and West Coast University.

In recognition of this valuable contribution, the Vice Chancellor recommended placing these scholarly works in the “Author Corner” of the Allama Iqbal library at GCUF. This initiative aims to inspire students and faculty while showcasing the university’s growing research excellence at both national and international levels.
