Government College University Faisalabad in collaboration with the Dhahan Prize, distributed scholarship cheques among students of the Department of Punjabi Literature to promote Punjabi language, literature and culture.

A total of Rs 231,200 was awarded to two MPhil students to support their academic pursuits and research in Punjabi studies.

Vice Chancellor 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐫 𝐑𝐚𝐮𝐟-𝐢-𝐀𝐳𝐚𝐦 emphasized the role of universities in preserving cultural heritage and stressed the need to modernize Punjabi literature in line with contemporary global trends. He also acknowledged the contributions of 𝐌𝐫 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐣𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐡 𝐃𝐡𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐬 𝐑𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐃𝐡𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐧 for promoting Punjabi language and culture internationally.

At this occasion Dr Khola Iftikhar Cheema, Advisor Dhahan Prize, and Ms Saima Perveen, Incharge Financial Aid Office, GCUF, were also present at the ceremony.
