Prime Minister's Laptop Scheme: 1,934 Students Receive Laptops

A dignified ceremony was held at 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐝 under the Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme, during which laptops were distributed among 1,934 students to promote digital learning and empower youth through technology.
Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐧 attended the regional-level ceremony as the chief guest. Addressing the gathering, he said the present era was defined by technology and artificial intelligence, and the government’s foremost priority was to equip the younger generation with modern skills to meet contemporary challenges.
Vice Chancellor Government College University Faisalabad 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐫 𝐑𝐚𝐮𝐟 -𝐢-𝐀𝐳𝐚𝐦, while addressing the ceremony, appreciated the Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme and the Punjab Chief Minister’s Scholarship Scheme, terming them reflective of transparency, merit and educational justice. He said the provision of laptops and scholarships on merit would encourage students to pursue higher education, research and innovation.
At this occasion 𝐌𝐫. 𝐑𝐢𝐳𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐫 Special Representative to the Prime Minister Youth Programme for International Linkages and Youth Development. 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥 Special Representative to the Prime Minister Youth Programme on Women Development. 𝐌𝐫. 𝐀𝐬𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐘𝐚𝐫 𝐍𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐫 Special Representative to the Prime Minister Youth Programme on IT. were also participated in the Ceremony as Guest of Honor. Members of parliament, distinguished members of the university syndicate, representatives of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Prime Minister Youth Programs participated in the the Ceremony.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Rauf-I-Azam, along with the chief guest Senator Rana Sanaullah Khan, distributed laptops among the students.
