Entrepreneurship Expo held at University Community College, GCUF
An Entrepreneurship Expo was held at the University Community College (UCC), Government College University Faisalabad, to promote skill development and entrepreneurial mindset among students. Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Rauf-i-Azam presided over the event, Muhammad Saqib Khan, MPA, Parliamentary Secretary for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and Muhammad Riaz Fityana, MNA participated as Chief Guest of the event. Rubina Munir Ch (ACS Pakistan) Chairperson Chemistry, Kinnaird College Lahore attended the event as guest of honor.
Students of Associate Degree Programmes showcased various business ideas and skill-based initiatives through dedicated stalls. Speaking on the occasion, the Vice Chancellor emphasized the importance of skills and entrepreneurship for Pakistan’s economic growth, while Muhammad Saqib Khan highlighted Punjab government policies supporting youth entrepreneurship.
At this occasion Dr Shahzad Ali Shahid, Principal UCC, and Dr Mohsin Bashir, Manager Incubation Centre, underlined the role of universities in equipping youth with market-oriented skills and future business opportunities.
