Marketing Fest 2026 held at Lyallpur Business School GCUF

Lyallpur Business School (LBS), Government College University Faisalabad, organised Marketing Fest 2026, an experiential learning event designed and executed by BBA students to bridge classroom theory with real-world marketing practice.

The event was held under the patronage of GCUF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Rauf-I-Azam. Among those in attendance were Prof Dr Sofia Anwar, Dean, Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences, Prof Dr Muhammad Abrar, Director Academics, Prof Dr Mohsin Bashir, Director LBS and senior faculty members.

Students presented innovative startup concepts and demonstrated live online business activities, including digital storefronts, social media marketing campaigns and e-commerce operations. Notable projects showcased at the festival included Ayna Jewels by The Visionaries, Floraflicker by Strategic Circle, Velora by The Alchemists, Soul Stitching by CreatiVerse, and Žayra by Team Zayra.

Addressing the gathering, Prof Dr Rauf -i-Azam emphasised the importance of experiential learning in fostering creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students. Prof Dr Sofia Anwar and Prof Dr Mohsin Bashir appreciated the students’ initiative and performance, and shared insights into upcoming academic projects and events planned by LBS.

The event was organised under the guidance of Dr Rizwan Shabbir, Dr Muhammad Asim Nawaz, Dr Ayesha Sharif, and Dr Ahsan Zubair, and concluded with an expression of appreciation for the organising team and participating students. Marketing Fest 2026 was held under the theme “From Ideas to Impact: Experiencing Marketing in Action”.
