The Business Incubation Center (BIC) at Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) successfully organized a specialized training session titled “Shaping an Innovative and Entrepreneurial Mindset” to equip the next generation of leaders with essential business skills on December 23, 2025.

The session was led by Dr. Farooq Rehan, Assistant Professor at Lyallpur Business School (LBS), who shared expert insights with students from LBS and aspiring entrepreneurs. The training focused on shifting the student perspective from job-seeking to job-creating, emphasizing the critical role of innovation in today’s competitive market.

• This session provided a unique platform for students to learn directly from active entrepreneurs. They gained firsthand knowledge of how startups manage real-time operations, overcome daily challenges, and scale their business models.
• Students were given the opportunity to ask detailed questions about the journey from a raw idea to a functional business venture.Dr. Farooq Rehan highlighted that fostering an entrepreneurial mindset is not just about starting a business but about developing a problem-solving approach that can be applied in any professional field.

This initiative is part of GCUF’s ongoing mission to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical industry application, ensuring that students are well-prepared for the dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem.
