University Community College GCUF Marks Quaid-e-Azam Day with Interfaith Harmony Event

University Community College organized a special programme to commemorate Quaid-e-Azam Day, reflecting the founding father’s vision of unity, tolerance and equality. The event also featured a cake-cutting ceremony in honour of the Christian community, underscoring the spirit of interfaith harmony and inclusiveness.
The ceremony was graced by the Vice Chancellor, Government College University Faisalabad, Prof Dr Rouf-i-Azam.Faculty members, staff and students attended the programme in large numbers.
Addressing the gathering, Prof Dr Rauf-i-Azam appreciated the initiative and said that such events truly embodied the ideology of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He emphasized that promoting mutual respect, interfaith harmony and national unity was essential for building a cohesive society. He commended University Community College for organizing a programme that highlighted shared national values.
Principal University Community College, Dr Shahzad Ali Shahid Chattha, expressed gratitude to the Vice Chancellor for his participation. He said it was a matter of pride for the institution to host the event and acknowledged the collective efforts of faculty members, staff and students in making the programme successful.
