The Department of Law, Government College University Faisalabad, organized the Jurist Quiz Competitions 2025 to promote legal knowledge, confidence, and analytical skills among students.

Addressing the event, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf-I-Azam said that such academic competitions enhance students’ morale, creativity, and self-confidence, while providing valuable learning opportunities beyond the classroom. He stressed the importance of discipline and respect for the rule of law among future legal professionals.

Ten teams participated in the competition, answering questions related to the Law of Evidence and Civil Procedure. The final round was judged by a distinguished panel comprising Dilawar Hussain Chadhar, Muhammad Farooq Ahsan, Asad Nisar Bhatti, and Umar Latif Bhutta.

Dean Social Sciences Dr. Asim Mahmood and Chairman Law Department Dr. Ghulam Murtaza noted that such activities help polish students’ talents and academic understanding. The Vice Chancellor congratulated the chief organizers Syed Najam Ameer, and appreciated the role of parents in students’ academic success.
