Vice Chancellors and research teams from Government College University Faisalabad, the University of Kamalia, the University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Government College Women University Faisalabad and KnowTex Solutions, convened today to finalize the concept for Circular Faisalabad, a landmark regional initiative.

On this occasion, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐚𝐮𝐟-𝐈-𝐀𝐳𝐚𝐦 Vice Chancellor GCUF, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐙𝐮𝐥𝐟𝐢𝐪𝐚𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐢 Vice Chancellor UAF, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐦𝐢𝐧 Vice Chancellor GCWUF and 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐘𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐫 𝐍𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐛 Vice Chancellor University of Kamalia, participated in the meeting along with directors and faculty members of the respective universities.

Circular Faisalabad is a visionary project jointly developed by the four universities of the Faisalabad Division to support the region’s transition toward a modern circular economy. The initiative brings together academic leadership, advanced research, and industry–community collaboration to create innovative, science-based solutions, build capacity across institutions, and enhance public awareness of circular practices. Its mission is to position Faisalabad as Pakistan’s leading model for sustainable production, resource efficiency, and waste-to-value innovation.
