Art and painting exhibition organized at Government College University Faisalabad in connection with Pakistan–Turkey Friendship

Under the Directorate of Students Affairs, the Fine Art Society, in collaboration with the Institute of Art and Design, organized a Pakistan–Turkey Friendship Art Exhibition. The purpose of this exhibition was to promote the longstanding friendship, cultural harmony, and mutual relations between Pakistan and Turkey through the medium of fine arts.

A variety of activities were arranged at the exhibition, including poster designing, painting, calligraphy, and sketching competitions. Students beautifully portrayed the culture, love, and brotherhood of both countries through their creative talents.

The chief guest of the event was Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, while members of the Turkish delegation, Dr. Emre Babur and Dr. Omer Saha Uslu, graced the occasion with their special participation. The Vice Chancellor and the Turkish delegation inspected the artworks on display and appreciated the students’ creative efforts.

Speaking on the occasion, members of the Turkish delegation said that the relations between Pakistan and Turkey are based on strong foundations of brotherhood, mutual respect, and cultural solidarity. Strengthening these relations through fine arts is a positive step. They appreciated the efforts of the university administration and students.

In his address, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam said that art is not only a means of expression but also an effective tool for promoting love, peace, and cultural harmony among nations. He said that the friendship between Pakistan and Turkey has always been exemplary, and such cultural programs foster creative thinking and awareness of international relations among the youth.
