The probation officers of the 53rd Common Training Program (CTP) visit to BIC, GCUF

The purpose of the visit was to foster linkages between academia and the civil services under the Civil Services Academy.
The visit was intended to brief the officers on the challenges and opportunities in the higher education sector, enhance practical collaboration with academia, and promote professional networking skills. The delegation included officers from Pakistan Railways, Office Management Group, Inland Revenue Service, and other departments.
The delegation also met with students and faculty and reviewed the university’s research and educational system. The university’s principal officers and directors gave the delegation a detailed briefing on governance, research activities, digital transformation, and educational reforms.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Rauf-i-Azam said that such study visits promote academic exchange and practical cooperation between the civil services and educational institutions, enabling evidence-based decisions in the policy-making process. He expressed hope that such programs would further strengthen the collaboration between academia and civil institutions for national development.
