GCUF Holds National Conference on Pakistan’s Constitutional Framework and International Law

The College of Law, Government College University Faisalabad, organized a one-day national conference on “Pakistan’s Constitutional Framework and International Law” under the patronage of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam.
The conference was presided over by eminent legal scholar Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Ahmad, while distinguished guests included Prof. Dr. Hafiz Aziz-ur-Rehman, Prof. Dr. Sami-ur-Rehman, Dr. Attaullah Khan Mahmood, and Dr. Sadiq Khan Kakar.
The speakers deliberated on various aspects of Pakistan’s constitutional and legal system, the implementation of international human rights, arbitration practices, and the role of Islam in modern state governance. They emphasized that Pakistan’s constitutional framework is in harmony with international law and that continued academic discourse is essential for legal advancement.
In his address, Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, Vice Chancellor GCUF, said that such scholarly and research-oriented activities play a vital role in enhancing students’ intellectual and analytical capabilities. He congratulated the College of Law for successfully organizing a thought-provoking academic event.
The conference drew participation from students, faculty members, and legal experts from across the country.
