Chief Operating Officer and Airport Manager of Faisalabad International Airport, Ms.Tasneem Akhtar Jameel, called on the Vice Chancellor of Government College University Faisalabad.

During the meeting, various matters of mutual interest were discussed. The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) offered internship opportunities for students from different disciplines, allowing GCUF students to gain practical exposure and experience in the aviation sector.

Both sides also discussed enhanced coordination between GCUF and Faisalabad International Airport in several areas, including providing research opportunities for students, fostering academia–industry collaboration for research and development, and engaging aviation experts to inspire and motivate students.

Ms. Tasneem Akhtar Jameel shared that the Pakistan Airports Authority has adopted the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) initiative titled “Young Professionals in Aviation.” Under this program, students will be invited to visit airports and interact with aviation industry experts to encourage them to pursue careers in aviation and contribute to the sector’s future growth and expansion.
