Vice Chancellor of Government College University Faisalabad visits development projects at the new campus. Issued instructions to complete work on time with quality.
Vice Chancellor of Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF), Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, visited various ongoing development projects at the new campus and thoroughly reviewed the construction work in progress. He directed the concerned officers to ensure quality in all projects under all circumstances and to complete them within the stipulated time frame.
While inspecting the under-construction community school, the Vice Chancellor said that this project would play a vital role in providing quality education to the children of the university faculty, staff, and local citizens. He instructed that the construction of the school be completed before the commencement of the next academic session so that classes could begin immediately.
Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam also reviewed the construction progress of the new Controller of Examinations building and the examination centers. He stated that the largest examination centers in Faisalabad are being constructed, where examinations of various provincial and federal government institutions will be conducted under one roof.
The Vice Chancellor said that the completion of the multipurpose hall under construction in the Controller of Examinations building will provide facilities to all educational institutions of Faisalabad, and the hall will prove beneficial for various academic and research activities.
Furthermore, he mentioned that keeping in view the demands of modern technology, a new academic block is being rapidly constructed to house modern disciplines such as Computer Science, IT, Software, Data Science, and Bioinformatics under one roof. This block will offer students excellent practical learning opportunities through computer labs, laboratories, and state-of-the-art equipment.
Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam said that the university has achieved a distinguished position in the field of development and quality education, and these projects will serve as milestones in the promotion of higher education.
