On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor also extended his best wishes to old alumnus Engineer Qamar Zaman. He noted that Engineer Qamar Zaman not only donated for the renovation of the central library at the Old Campus but also contributed an amount of ten million rupees (PKR 10 million) for the construction of the Community School — a clear reflection of his deep attachment to his alma mater.

In their recent meeting with the Vice Chancellor, the delegation also presented an additional cheque of five hundred thousand rupees (PKR 500,000) for the Community School. Along with this, they expressed their intention to increase the scholarship fund for university students so that a greater number of students may benefit from this facility.

He added that Government College University Faisalabad will always remain a second home for its former students, and they are always warmly welcomed back.
