Government College University Faisalabad has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Selçuk University, Konya, Türkiye, to strengthen academic cooperation and promote international collaboration in higher education and research.

The MoU was formally signed by Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, Vice Chancellor, GCUF, with facilitation from the Directorate of International Linkages, led by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Riaz. Prof. Dr. Nudrat Aisha Akram served as the Focal Person from GCUF.

This partnership aims to:

Enhance joint research and academic exchange programs.
Promote faculty and student mobility.
Foster collaborative initiatives in science, technology, and innovation.
Encourage cultural and educational exchange between Pakistan and Türkiye.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam emphasized that the MoU marks another step toward GCUF’s vision of global engagement, opening doors for innovative research collaborations and capacity-building opportunities.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Riaz, Director International Linkages, highlighted that such partnerships play a crucial role in broadening GCUF’s international footprint, fostering global learning experiences, and strengthening institutional ties with leading universities worldwide.
