Vice Chancellor Government College University Faisalabad, Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, visited the COMSTECH Secretariat in Islamabad, where he was warmly welcomed by Coordinator General COMSTECH, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Ch.

During the meeting, both leaders discussed the upcoming visit of Vice Chancellors and Rectors from around eight Palestinian universities, particularly from Gaza City, to Pakistan. The delegation is scheduled to visit Government College University Faisalabad in the 3rd week of October 2025.

GCUF, in collaboration with COMSTECH, is committed to extending academic and humanitarian support to the people of Gaza, advocating for peace, education, and justice in Palestine.

Muhammad Murtaza Noor, Media Advisor/Coordinator COMSTECH, was also present at the meeting. Notably, GCUF has already offered scholarships to Palestinian students as part of its international support initiatives.
