A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Government College University Faisalabad and Zakat Foundation of America (Pakistan) at the Foundation’s Head Office in Islamabad.

The MoU was signed by Vice Chancellor GCUF Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam and Dr. Fazal ur Rehman, representative of Zakat Foundation of America.

Under this collaboration, both institutions will work together in the areas of education, research, social welfare, and economic uplift of society. The partnership includes opportunities for internships, scholarships, project collaborations, exchange of publications, seminars, training workshops, and student ambassador programs.

On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam emphasized the importance of academia–community partnerships, stating this collaboration reflects our shared vision to empower youth through education and social development. Together, we aim to create meaningful opportunities that will contribute to the progress and prosperity of our nation.
