Government College University Faisalabad organized a grand orientation session for newly admitted students of BS programs at the Quaid-e-Azam Auditorium, New Campus. The event aimed to familiarize new entrants with the university’s academic environment, rules and regulations, facilities, and departmental structure.

The session was presided over by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, while Director Undergraduate Studies Prof. Dr. Shazia Anwar Bukhari, Deans of various faculties, principal officers, and faculty members also addressed the students.

In his detailed address, Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam highlighted the university’s remarkable achievements, its prominent standing in national and international rankings, and the establishment of sub-campuses to expand access to higher education. He noted that GC University Faisalabad currently ranks first among public universities in Punjab and second nationwide, a distinction that reflects the dedication and hard work of its faculty and students.

The Vice Chancellor emphasized that the university is not merely a center for academic learning but also a place for character building and professional development. At this occasion Deans and principal officers from different departments provided comprehensive briefings about their respective departments, policies, research opportunities, and both curricular and co-curricular activities available to students.
