STEM Leadership Training Empowers GCUF Faculty

Government College University Faisalabad hosted a two-day STEM Leadership Education Training Workshop in collaboration with the British Council and UK STEM Leadership Program, aimed at strengthening STEM education and faculty leadership.

Director General NAHE-HEC Ms.Noor Amana Malik, Deputy Director Dr. Sadia Bukhari, and Principal Investigator Dr. Tabbi Wilberforce Awotwe emphasized the importance of such initiatives for raising education standards, promoting innovation, and preparing globally competitive STEM graduates.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam and Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nasir Amin highlighted the need for faculty innovation, punctuality, and adoption of e-learning technologies to align with global academic standards.

The workshop, based on the STEM-CDIO framework, engaged over 80 multidisciplinary faculty members from GCUF and affiliated colleges, equipping them with advanced teaching methodologies and awarding certificates to mark their enhanced leadership capacity.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam appreciated the efforts of Director Training and Development, Prof. Dr. Sofia Anwar, for her dedicated role in organizing and successfully executing the program.
