Dr. Tahir ul Qamar Represents Government College University Faisalabad at the Mustafa (PBUH) Science & Technology Prize Week in Tehran, Iran
Dr. Muhammad Tahir ul Qamar, Assistant Professor of Bioinformatics & Deputy Director (International Linkages) at Government College University Faisalabad, proudly represented GCUF, Pakistan at the 6th Mustafa (PBUH) Science & Technology Prize Week in Tehran, Iran.
Invited by the Mustafa (PBUH) Science & Technology Foundation, he delivered a keynote address at the prestigious 10th Science and Technology Exchange Program (STEP), hosted by Amirkabir University of Technology, one of Iran’s top-ranked engineering universities (https://step.mstfdn.org/).
Key highlights of his visit:- Conveyed the message of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, emphasizing stronger academic and scientific linkages between GCUF and international universities.
- In line with the directions of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Riaz, Director of International Linkages, initiated MoUs with leading Iranian institutes to foster collaborative research and innovation.
- Honored with an Adjunct Professorship at Amirkabir University (Department of Computer Engineering).
- Visited Pardis Technology Park and launched a joint AI Hub initiative to develop smart, sustainable ecosystems across universities of the Muslim world (https://en.iiid.tech/).
