Under the auspices of the Rehmat-ul-lil-Alameen ﷺ Seerat Chair and the Directorate of Student Affairs, Government College University Faisalabad organized a spiritually uplifting Na’at poetry recital in celebration of the 1500th blessed birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

The event was held at the Iranian Studies Hall, Yousuf Block, and was presided over by the renowned poet Mr. Manzoor Saqib.

Prominent poets from across the country participated in the event and expressed their deep love and devotion to the Holy Prophet ﷺ through beautiful Na’at poetry.

Among the distinguished poets who graced the gathering were: Ali Raqi, Abbas Ali Haider, Ali Arif, Anadesh Siddiqui, Asad Waraich, Asif Sardar Arain, Babar Ali Asad, Sarwar Qamar Qadri, Professor Tahir Siddiqui, Mian Munir Ahmed, Dr. Maqsood Ahmed Aajiz, Dr. Riaz Qadri, Dr. Rabia Sarfraz, and Sarwar Khan Sarwar.

The event was gracefully hosted by Dr. Majid Mushtaq, who fulfilled his duties as the master of ceremonies with great finesse.

In his closing remarks, Professor Dr. Humayun Abbas thanked all the poets and attendees of the gathering. He said that moments spent in the remembrance of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ are a valuable treasure for us, and we must pray that our lives always remain illuminated by the love of the Prophet ﷺ and his sacred remembrance.
