Distribution of Promotion Orders for Tenure Track System Faculty at Government College University Faisalabad

Promoted faculty members should perform their duties with new energy and enthusiasm and play their role in aligning the university with international standards of teaching and research. These remarks were made by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf Azam while addressing the ceremony.

At Government College University Faisalabad, promotion orders for Tenure Track System (TTS) faculty were distributed by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rauf Azam. On this occasion, the University Registrar, Ghulam Ghous, was also present.

These promotion orders were issued following the recommendations of the Selection Board and approval of the Syndicate Committee. During the ceremony, the Vice Chancellor congratulated the promoted faculty members and expressed hope that they would carry out their responsibilities with greater dedication, sincerity, and commitment in order to further enhance the academic and research excellence of the institution.

According to details, 38 faculty members were promoted from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor, while 29 Associate Professors were elevated to the rank of Professor. On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor said that this progression of faculty is not only recognition of their individual hard work and research contributions but also a reflection of the overall academic advancement of the university.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Rauf Azam said that faculty members are the backbone of any academic institution, and their hard work, research, and teaching contributions play a vital role in the training of students and the welfare of society.

In his address, Prof. Dr. Rauf Azam further stated that the process of appointing more permanent faculty on BPS will soon begin in the university, which will bring further improvement in teaching and research activities.
