Students from Ex-FATA, Waziristan, Lakki Marwat, Balochistan, Skardu, and Gilgit-Baltistan Hold a Special Meeting with the Vice Chancellor of Government College University Faisalabad, Professor Dr. Rauf Azam
During this special interaction, the students expressed their affection and cultural pride by adorning the Vice Chancellor with their traditional turbans — a gesture that not only honored him but also served as a remarkable example of intercultural solidarity.
In the meeting, students shared key suggestions regarding educational facilities in their regions, the establishment of examination centers, and the admission process. Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Rauf Azam attentively listened to their concerns and assured them of prompt action. He stated, “We warmly welcome students from every corner of Pakistan. Our commitment is to merit, transparency, and facilitation. From setting up examination centers in remote areas to ensuring accessible admissions and accommodation — we are working to ease every step of the educational journey.”
He further added that female students from other provinces are being provided with better accommodation, nutritious meals, and a secure environment in the university’s girls’ hostels so they can pursue their education without hindrance.
This meeting between the Vice Chancellor and students from across provinces stood as a symbol of GCUF’s vision — that it is not just an institution, but an inclusive academic platform where students from every part of Pakistan are given equal opportunity, respect, and room to grow.
