The spirit of sportsmanship came alive as GC University Faisalabad inaugurated its 𝟐𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, organized by the Directorate of Sports.
𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐚𝐮𝐟-𝐈-𝐀𝐳𝐚𝐦 inaugurated the event by lighting the torch, officially marking the beginning of two action-packed days of competitions, energy, and enthusiasm. Students from various departments proudly represented their faculties in a vibrant and well-coordinated march past.
In his opening address, Prof. Dr. Rauf-I-Azam emphasized 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐠𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲. While our university continues to shine academically, we are equally committed to nurturing our students through sports and co curricular activities.
He further highlighted our state-of-the-art Sports Complex offers modern facilities for students, faculty, and staff. Everyone should actively participate in daily physical activities.
The Athletics Meet features a range of exciting competitions including 𝟏𝟎𝟎𝐦, 𝟒𝟎𝟎𝐦, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟖𝟎𝟎𝐦 𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬, 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐣𝐮𝐦𝐩, 𝐉𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐰.
The grounds echoed with cheers as students showcased their strength, teamwork, and sportsmanship. 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐬 from the Vice Chancellor in recognition of their stellar performances.
A large number of students, faculty members, and spectators attended the event, making it a true celebration of athletic excellence and university spirit.
