An awareness walk on the celebration of World's Fisheries day was organized by the Department of Zoology, and Zoological Society of GCUF. Theme of the Event was Innovation for Sustainable fisheries and Sustainable Communities. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali (TI), Worthy Vice Chancellor GCUF lead the walk along with Prof. Dr. Nasir Amin, Dean faculty of Physical Science, Prof. Dr. Farhat Abbas, Dean faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Farhat Jabeen, Chairperson Zoology, Prof. Dr. Tayyaba Sultana, DR. Salma Sultana, Dr. Shafqat Hussain, Controller of Examinations GCUF, Dr. Muhammad Israr Chaudhry, Addl. Controller GCUF, DR. Worthy Vice Chancellor addressed the participants about the importance of Fisheries in all fields of life. He admired the efforts of the Faculty Members and Appreciated the Role of Chairperson in student training. He also admired the role of faculty in the character building of the students. The Poster and Model competition was arranged and more than 60 Posters and ten models were displayed.
