About Professor Dr. Abid Rashid

Professor Dr. Abid Rashid holds MBBS, FCPS and PHD Degrees. He started his career from Independent Medical College in 2013. He joined Govt. College University Faisalabad back in 2014 as Professor/Director of Directorate of Medical Sciences. He is HEC approved supervisor and awardee of three clinical trials projects funded by Dr. Allen, Medical Director Oxford University. He attended several National and International conferences. Dr. Abid Rashid Published over 80 articles in high impact science journals. With an academic experience of more than 20 years, he has strong outlook with many M. Phil and Ph.D. students. Apart from academics, he has served at various administrative positions as Director, Principal, Dean, Member ASRB, Convener Medical Reimbursement, Member DP&IC, Member Academic Council, Convener BOS and Convener BOF. Under his supervision, Faculty of Medical sciences is running a research journal with title Pakistan Journal of Medical and Biological Sciences (PJMBS). He is also member of HEC committee for recognition of Medical Research Journals.
