Quality teaching is a prerequisite to produce skilled and educated manpower in a bid to make progress and meet the challenges of modern age, said Government College University Faisalabad Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zakir Hussain.
He addressed a meeting of deans, directors and heads of departments at his chamber. He directed them to pay full attention on ensuring good education at the campus as the skilled youth is a guarantee of bright future . He also urged the teaching community to take every tangible step to iron out the deficiencies of the students.
He also called for increasing the reading habit among students and teachers as well because excessive reading opens up new horizon of prosperity among nations. He also pointed out that in the modern era, the study culture was changing. Now, computers are replacing the black and white material. We should get benefit from the new technologies.
He also lauded the GCUF teaching community for making efforts to make the GCUF sixth top ranked university of Pakistan. It speaks the volume of the competencies and hardworking of the administration and teaching staff, he added. He said that university was committed to improve the quality of education for making them at par with international standard.
