College of law has conducted a seminar on criminal justice system in Pakistan: Challenges and solutions. Justice (R) Kazim Ali Malik was the Guest of Honor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali (T.I) Was the Chief Guest of the Event but due to an urgent piece of work Prof. Dr. Hamayun Abbas (Dean Faculty of Islamic and Oriental Studies presided over the seminar. Justice (R) Kazim Ali Malik was of the view that the present system of justice in the courts is different from the system of justice prescribe by books of law. Furthermore he emphasized the speedy justice because justice deployed is justice denied. Prof. Dr. Hamayuan Abbas was of the view that the present challenges faced by the criminal justice system in Pakistan are because we are not following the teachings of Holy Quran Mirza Shahid Rizwan Baig, chairman college of law was of the view that no system can exist with injustice and the ranking of a state among the states can be determined from the efficiency of its system of administration of justice. Mr. Qaiser Nazir Sahi, President, Faisalabad Bar Association was of the view that without strengthing the bond between bench and bar the system of criminal administration of Justice cannot be improved Mr. Azhar Hanif Khan, General Secretary Faisalabad Bar Association and Mr. Changaiz Khan Karkar Member Punjab Bar Council were also present at the event.
