Position Vacant: Research Associate in Food Science (Project No. 20-3137/NRPU/R&D/HEC/11/606)

Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals, who are not married to a foreign national, for the appointment on the following two positions in the Department of Food Science, Nutrition and Home Economics under National Research Program for Universities – Higher Education Commission project No. 20-3137/NRPU/R&D/HEC/11/606, titled “Impact of fruit processing modes on extracted juice quality: conventional vs. innovative technologies” with the following terms and conditions.

Post name: Research Associate (1)

Honorarium: Rs. 20,000/- per month

Contract duration: 1 year (renewable once)

Qualification: M.Sc.(Hons.)/MS or equivalent in Food Science & Technology

Experience: Candidate having good working experience related to the physicochemical analyses, food chemistry, extraction, and report writing will be preferred. Duties and responsibilities include working in both field and lab including raw material collection, chemical analyses, preparing project report, writing new proposals and manuscript writing.

Project information: The project duration is 24 months. The above positions are purely on temporary basis. The incumbent will be required to sign a bond for entire duration of the project.
