Memorandum was made and executed at Faisalabad, on 21st of September, 2015 between Government College University Faisalabad and World Wide Fund for Nature Pakistan (WWF-Pakistan) through Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zuber, Dean Faculty of Sciences and Technology (as Vice Chancellor’s nominee.), Ms. Sania Rauf Khan, Head Corporate Partnership (as Director General, WWF-Pakistan’s nominee). Dr. Naeem Iqbal, Chairman Department of Botany and Mr. Hamza Malik, Senior officer, Int. Eco,Enternship WWF-P are the coordinators of the program. Worthy Vice Chancellor personally met the guests and shared their views to make the MoU more effective and productive for students. Moreover, liaison officers;Dr. Muhammad Zulqurnain Haider (Assistant Professor, Botany), Mr. Usman Ijaz (Eco Int. Internship Officer, WWF-Pakistan) and Departmental coordinators; Dr. Saqib Mahmood (Assistant Professor, Botany), Dr. Faisal Mehmood (Assistant Professor, Environmental Sciences), Dr. Muhammad Samee Mubarik (Assistant Professor, Zoology), were along with them. Consequent to this memorandum WWF-Pakistan will consider Government College University, Faisalabad’s students for the suitable position if they come on merit or meet the requirements. WWF-Pakistan will provide Government College University, Faisalabad’s students with an opportunity to conduct research projects under the International Eco-Internship Programme.
