GCUF Scouts participated in 34th All Punjab Rover Moot 2016

GCUF Scout Group participated in 34th All Punjab Rover Moot – 2016 organized by Punjab Boy Scout Association at Scout Nasheman, Ghora Gali, Murree Hills from August 22 to 28, 2016. Over 400 scouts from all over the Punjab participated in the Rover Moot. GCUF scouts team of 08 scouts participated in the Rover Moot under the leadership of Dr. Mahmood-ur-Rahman Ansari, President, GCUF Scout Group and Assistant Professor, Department of Bioinformatics & Biotechnology, Government College University, Faisalabad. Mr. Muhammad Hassan Sanwal, Lecturer (History) also accompanied the team.

GCUF Scouts actively participated in all training sessions and competitions and got positions in almost every competition as follows:

  1. Tilawat Competition: 4th Position
  2. Na’at Competition: 1st Position
  3. Speech Competition: 3rd Position
  4. First Aid Competition: 2nd Position
  5. Pioneering Project Competition: 1st Position
  6. Camp Inspection: 3rd Position
  7. Camp Fire Competition: 3rd Position

Overall performance of GCUF scouts was excellent and very much appreciated by Punjab Boy Scouts Association. They performed additional services at the camp as well including Volunteer services, security services, community services, etc. It reflects the confidence and deep trust of Punjab Boy Scouts Association on GCUF scouts. GCUF Scout Group is thankful to Dr. Nadeem Sohail, Director Student Affairs for his guidance and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali, Vice Chancellor for his continuous support.
