*PhD students who have not studied the course “Statistics for Research” in MPhil will have to take this course as audit course as mandatory requirement.

Note:

Overall 24 teaching credit hours for MPhil and 18 teaching credit hours for PhD program are mandatory. However, the research supervisors of students may recommend additional courses. The department will offer the courses keeping in view the availability of teachers and nature of research to conducted.

The three courses PHY-701, PHY-702 and STA-795 are compulsory for MPhil degree program
